Magnus wins First Post-World Championship Titled Arena and a Big Event Tomorrow

So this Wesley guy is back on Lichess, hahaha.
I saw some of his videos where he vowed to never play here.
@Buttercup22 You’re red flagged for sandbagging? (By your own admission).

As I understand it, and please correct me if I’m wrong, sandbagging is deliberately losing to lower your rating?

That’s the equivalent of taking a dive in boxing.

Or match fixing in cricket.

In my book, that’s cheating. It’s also showing total disrespect to your opponents. You claim to have lost respect for him? Really?

As a self confessed cheater, your comments on the matter have no value.
In cheating issue. I think the reason the game was not overturned is because David Howell did not said the specific move. Instead just a hint. David said that the queen can be trapped.

Ouch, that hurts me right in the feels. Had fun reporting the comment though.

Well then your book is wrong. Taking a dive is taking a dive and cheating is cheating. They are not the same thing, whether not you try to conflate the two. Cheating means to somehow gain an unfair advantage to win, not lose on purpose. It's not just a technicality it's the polar opposite.
But then to go beyond abusing words to telling me what I think is outrageous. Far from showing disrespect to my opponents I was doing them a favor by giving them wins they did not even deserve. They should be thanking me. And I also did a great service to the lichess community as a whole by my experiment, which was to confirm the rating floor which is now you can know with certainty is 600. But instead of thanks for my efforts to educate and raise awareness about how this website works I paid the price by being given a cheaters badge. You're welcome.

Saying that the queen could be trapped is almost exactly the same as saying the move. It's not likely there were a long list of moves that could trap the queen, probably I'm guessing there was only one. This is a distinction without a difference.
I can't see the point of this discussion. Are people allowed to participate in this online arenas with someone beside them in the same room? If yes, where is the problem? You play with a nick, not your ID card. Carlsen is even the most transparent of all in their behaviour, since he streamed the whole event.
Otherwise, everything should be considered cheating, when they passed him a beer while he was able to keep on playing or when he asked to be warned when short of time. Almost any comment to the game would imply some sort of a hint, therefore a cheat.
C'mon guys, it's a very interesting funny video of a friendly event, delightful to watch. In which serious tournement are you allowed trashtalking and motherf*ing here and there while drinking beer during a game?
