What was the first game to ever be recorded in the history of chess? How good were the players?

The players of the first game of *British* chess (not Indian chaturanga since its the oldest) to have ever been recorded were actually good players or just a bunch of bad ones and rookies? Could they have been good enough to fight the modern players? Also, was it an actual tournament game or someone who just decided to publicise a chess game played in a cafe?
did you try googling before you assumed other will do it for you? Also what in earth you mean by british chess?
Well, let's think about this for a second. If it had been a tournament game, then there would've been more than one. Right? So how could you tell which one was the first? Unless it was actually the game that finished first in the tourney.

Well, if we talk about "chess" in old ages, in many cases it would refer to Chaturanga. Chess was originally founded & created in India. The British colonisers took the idea of this game and recreated it to what we know today. Helpful?

Also, I did check on chessgames.com before. Cuz its the best website for chess games for me. Try yourselves if you find this boring.

Well, we know one thing for sure; i.e if it were a tournament game, then those games would be out of round 1. Now according to me it should be the game which started first (which would be super difficult). So the other options we have are: 1) The game which ended first
2) The game which was on Board 1 (again might be difficult to find)

Hmmm - I think you miss the role of Persians and Arabs, and maybe some more peoples. AFAIK, chess had been in europe some centuries before the British were in India.

Chess was not taken west by British colonizers. It arrived to Europe via Muslim's partly parts of Europe. Like Spain. maybe google up history of chess while googling for first recorded game

I think it would be only fair to blame this one on the Romans.
