Hi. Which is more imoprtant in chess intligent or training?
Both are important moji. A talent would help you to learn quicker, but you really need to learn a lot of patterns in both cases.

Work ethic, although talent makes things a lot easier.

It's the same in most pursuits. Take music: some people are naturally gifted, some are grafters. They'll both do well... but the best is blatantly a hard-working person with a natural ability :)
