Money Chess

@CommonBoy yes it would be theft. Say the cheater won a game, gets an amount of money put onto their card (card details would obviously need to be given as part of registering for the site). Then the cheater gets found out. I can't see how the site could gain access to the player's card LAWFULLY in order to take back the money. What would you do about false positives? "Oh sorry, we took your money because we thought you were a cheater.". That would kill the site.

And BTW this IS advertising, even if it isn't your site.
See Cashouts will not be automatic and there will be a threshold and all the cashouts will be checked by the staff so he cant get the money on his card :)
@mCoombes314 brings up a good point. Technically, there's no way to know with 100% certainty if someone is cheating, since even if the follow the engine's first choice every move they could just be getting extremely lucky.

So if someone cheats and wins a bunch of money, I don't think you could legally take back their winnings, unless you want to be sued, since you can't prove they cheated.

So basically, you won't be able to take the winnings back from the cheaters, and you'll have to reimburse the people who lose to cheaters. It sounds like your friend could potentially end up in a lot of debt from running this site.
see The cheater can be caught and his winnings will be taken coz its not his money and it will be taken before its going to his card as a threshold will be there :)
It can be proved if he is cheating coz we can make a law like he has to play 20 games before getting cashout :)
So if he is not a good player he will lose money and on top of that there will be a free section too! Cash section is unique!
@CommonBoy I don't think you understand what I' saying.

There is no way to PROVE that someone is cheating. Yes, you can be 99.9999% sure, but never 100%. If you deny someone their winnings, no matter how sure you are that they are cheating, they could potentially sue you for their winnings. You will not be able to deny payouts to anyone who earned it, regardless of whether or not they cheated.
I see @Checkers-Network has arrived at the same conclusion as me :p . @CommonBoy what do you mean by "see The cheater can be caught and his winnings will be taken coz its not his money"? If it's a bet then it would be their money, and because it is their money, nobody would legally be able to take their money away. Theft from a thief is still theft, even if it repays the person who has been stolen from - it's worse than that actually because there is no way to prove 100% conclusively that somebody was cheating.
We have the right to deny for anything suspicious but we will not take his own money the winnings can be stopped and it will be under the Terms and Conditions of Signing Up!
We will tell him to play some games with webcam! and if he plays bad there then he will be caught
The conclusion is that we will tell the suspect to play some games on cam! That will do the job!
@CommonBoy So your ToS are going to say that you have to pay to play, but then if you win... the site doesn't have to pay you your winnings.

Good luck getting anyone to use your site lol.

Also, forcing players to use a webcam to prove they aren't cheating is ridiculous because 1. The burden of proof is on you, not the player, and 2. I don't see how having a webcam on would stop someone from cheating.
@CommonBoy lol what? None of this can be legally binding as far as I can see. You can't take their winnings, but yes you could stop the account. And so we're back to using VPNs and multiple email addresses to create multiple accounts.

You can't force someone to play games with webcam so you can see what they are doing, and taking over the webcam would be hacking, so what do you do if they just say "No"?. Ban them? Cue VPNs. Nothing is too much to do if there's free money to be had.
