"Normal chess" Vs "Chess variants" ?

For me chess is rich enough. My variants are different openings.
I haven't found a variant so far (including normal chess) that is not interesting in one or another way - too bad there is not enough time for learning them all properly, but low level playing can be fun too, who cares :-P

My fav ones i only recently discovered are s-chess (and the house variation) and Shogun, which i thought would be some sort of zh with additional pieces... oh man, so not true, totally different game, a very nice one actually!
all can be found on www.pychess.org/
I've always wondered if players of shatranj and courier chess, the predecessors of chess, said that shatranj/courier chess is deep enough, thank you very much, and that back in their day, the queens and bishops weren't running all over the board like crazy, and that one long distance piece (the rook) was quite enough. \o/
I play shogi and started recently play janggi, korean chess. Both very interest.
@opperwezen playchess have a thematic chess variant called " Twin Chess" there is two kings.

Twin Chess

" The starting position in Twin Chess is the same as in classical chess, with one important difference. Neither side has a queen, they both have a second king which is placed in the queen’s position. A player does not have a queen unless he can promote a pawn. "

It is possible for a king to be captured, ie it can be removed from the board. The first player to lose both kings has lost the game. All the other rules and moves are the same as in classical chess. Both kings can do a short castle on their respective sides. Long castling is possible on either side after the other king has been moved away.

ICC have wild9 with two kings. But the king closest to the a1 square is royal.
Compared to my chess, I'm generally bad at variants, but I somewhat enjoy KoTh
@Nordlandia jep i played that variant sometimes on playchess i prefer the version with twin chess with a queen on the board for both which makes the game more dynamic
