Finding a way to play Classical Chess

I am a big fan of playing classical chess, it is much more important to me than playing bullet or blitz. However, it is becoming extremely difficult to play this time control online, partly because on each site, there are a swarm of cheaters ready to destroy you (particularly in the tournaments) and in addition, there are not a lot of advanced players playing classical chess and it is hard to find appropriate pairings. Decent OTB tournaments are nonexistent in the summer, so it is extremely frustrating for players like me to practice long time controls against good opponents. Advanced players are not really playing classical chess at all and play mostly bullet, where the cheaters are fewer and the players are better. How are people supposed to practice playing real chess??

Not sure if I'm strong enough, but if you'd like to have a long chess training partner, I am available. I'm looking to start tournament play soon.

I also haven't played any standard games on here lately, so I reckon it's ~100 points under where it should be. But yeah, if you're interested, send a pm. It'd be nice to get practice against a strong player.
