Thank God I am allergic to any form of alcoholic drink but unfortunately I am addicted to lichess.org. Spending too much time playing with chess Engine and chit chat in this forum. It is nice to read about the chess GM habit. LOL

I commonly combine chess with beer. I find I lose more games as I get more intoxicated. However, I love to drink beer. And I love chess. So, c'est la vie, right?
I've played one tournament on here and I laid off the beer for the first few games... I thought I did well, considering I'm a pretty trash player sober or not!

This is a good topic)) A lot of players from Latin America cocaine use and play a great game superfast. Amazing response to the online chess is often associated with stronger stimulants. I personally played using cannabis, psilocybin mushrooms, amphetamines and alcohol. In general, any substance to hide the nuances of the game, although they may bring short-term success.
I've found that chess under the influence of any strong stimulant makes me very indecisive... I'll waste far too much time on non-critical moves.
