Hi! I am Tomas Kapitanchuk, an argentinian FIDE Master with an International Master norm. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge to my students, chess is a sport which I play since I was 6 years old and is part of my life. I am currently studying International Business (IB) at UADE.
My native language is Spanish, but I speak English fluently (I sat for the CAE Cambridge Exam-C1 level)

Buenas a todos! Soy Tomas Kapitanchuk, Maestro FIDE argentino con una norma de Maestro Internacional. Me gusta compartir mis conocimientos en este juego a mis alumnos, prácticamente lo juego de toda la vida y forma parte de mi. Soy estudiante de la Licenciatura en Comercio Internacional en la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
Mi idioma nativo es español, pero hablo inglés fluidamente (rendí el examen CAE Cambridge- nivel C1)

I have given lessons at some schools and chess clubs, generally destined to children. I have enjoyed a lot those experiences and now I am focusing on players with higher level. I am training strong young players and foreigners (Mexico, Australia, UK, USA, Canada).

Clases en colegios y clubes, generalmente a chicos. Disfruté mucho esas experiencias y ahora me estoy enfocando más en jugadores de más nivel. Clases particulares a jugadores jóvenes con gran proyección e internacionales (México, Inglaterra, Estados Unidos)

The idea is to adapt to what the student wants. I will evaluate his/her weaknesses and strengths, and focus on that to improve. I think it is necessary to study openings, combined with an active middlegame and precise endgames. We will work on pawn structures and how to face them. For this, I will create a rigorous study plan to keep track of the student´s improvement.

La idea es ajustarse a lo que el alumno necesite. Evaluar sus debilidades y fortalezas, y a partir de eso trabajar para un mejor rendimiento. Pienso que el estudio de aperturas es necesario, combinado con un mediojuego activo y finales precisos. Trabajar sobre estructuras de peones e identificar distintos patrones y cómo afrontar cada posición. Para esto, crearemos un plan de estudio riguroso para seguir el progreso del alumno.
