Swiss tournaments are on Lichess

This might have been talked about somewhere in these 38 pages, but I find it a little strange it's only for teams.
Hello,
I have created a Swiss by choosing the day and time and when that time did not start. I solved it manual by editing the tournament and setting the start to the next minute and changing the interval to 1 minute
once the round has started I have edited the tournament again and change the interval again to choose that the second round be held on the day and time that I want. now I'm waiting for round 1 to finish to see what happens
but the first round did not start automatically
Hi, first thanks for implementing Swiss Chess Tournaments. Works very well!
But we are missing 2 little features:
1. We want to play our club rapid tournament with 7 rounds and 25 minutes per side. So one round is about one our. Till now we splited this to two days, 4 rounds and 3. It would be nice to set a custom start date for the rounds. For us it would be good to only set the start date of round 1 and 5, all other rounds direct one the end, so as it is now. I mean a custom start date for some of the rounds. Some teams propably want one round per day
2. Swiss chess is only for teams, but how about to invite other teams to a Swiss tournament? Till now we have for team battles only the arena mode. And nearly nobody is really happy with this

Greetings
Markus
Still possible for the same player to have several byes, even though there are other players who didn't have any. This needs to be fixed for Swiss to be really good. Here are a couple of examples from our tournaments:
lichess.org/swiss/QZ3aGhcE
lichess.org/swiss/yB8YWxoe (today)
Both times the same kid, unfortunately. The last one was especially frustrating, as he ended up having byes in the last two rounds of the tournament.
10 persons 7 rounds just does not work. 5 rounds at most.
Even less with 1 late joiner and 1 early quitter.
These kind of difficulties were predicted before swiss tournaments were implemented here.
Yes, we now know your point. It's just irrelevant to the fact of getting multiple byes. If that is solved, it would benefit youth tournaments and lower level players in general.
The fix is to limit the 10 player tournament to 5 rounds not 7, to in some way discourage or prohibit the late joiners and in some way to discourage the early quitter. So this is for the tournament organiser to fix, not for lichess.
If you think otherwise, then take the exact tournament of #376 and tell us how lichess should have done the pairings taking into account the 7 rounds, the late joiners and the early quitter.
