Can't unfollow closed accounts

Hello,

in my friend list there are players whose accounts are closed and it is not possible to unfollow them.
Unlike with active accounts, there is simply no "unfollow" button to do so...

Does anybody else experience the same issue?

For me, this is quite annoying as I would like to keep my friend list tidy and not clogged up with inactive players that I can't remove.

You can unfollow them by clicking on the "friends" button on your profile and select them in the list: lichess.org/@/JmEricsson/following. I agree it's quite hidden.

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately that's the exact problem.
In that list you mentioned, it is not possible for me to unfollow an account that is closed.

All the other accounts are fine and have that option - just for the closed ones the "unfollow" button is unfortunately missing.

This sounds strange. When you hover over Following button there, it should change to Unfollow.

Does this "following" button also exist for you in case of closed accounts?

If yes, then maybe it is a "website vs. app" issue? I only play on the mobile app, so maybe it is only a problem here? Idk.

Yes. I was using a browser.

It does not works on a mobile if you use mobile view. Use desktop view to Unfollow or use a PC
