antichess is an engine fest, especially if money is involved. With 1+0 we make sure 99,9% of all engine user are out of the game.
It's certain an engine user is going to win with larger time controls and no matter what we going to do people are angry.
We don't want to be in the position to decide whether a player is legit or not. You suggest to review the games: Some people will say it's engine, some it's not. In any case people will be mad, nobody is winning here. Since we know there are lot of antichess fans we think this is a good compromise for everyone with 1+0.

You should also remember *nobody* works here for money every contributor volunteers for free. We work for a nice enviroment not money.
you should also know, that 1 0 will not deter bot users the least bit.
they can easily interface their engines to play for them, and with that fast time control, a human will be disadvantaged.
adding money is just chumming the water here, it will bring them out.
either way, its your money to burn as you please, or in this case give to a bot user.
Bitcoin and CW poison lichess to promote their own companies, i think both should be banned immediately! Next thing they will put tournament entry fees to wager prize for profit.
Find your own website to give coins. lichess should be pure!

We work together with ChessAt3 to provide you with Wesley So tournaments. Without money these tournaments or Wesley So on LiChess wouldn't be possible.
The way I see it a lot of people like these tournaments, especially the one with Wesley.

Can we have a limit for entrance of at least a month on the site and all cheaters will be ip banned?

I agree with FKA_Soop, people are gonna cheat regardless of time control so a lower time control only hurts noncheaters and it is not enough time for an insightful game where noncheaters can really think and learn from their games.
There is no public antichess bot out there. The chance of having engine player in the top 20 with 1+0 is pretty low.
I won't expect someone cheating on this time control with a second board.

@FKA_Soop : yea sure it is unfair to people who does not play Antichess quite often but on the same time you can not deny there are cheaters with multiple accounts (Thanks a lot lichess for taking good care of them but still they can intrude again anytime)
@Link : Sorry buddy but try to practice faster games more and more as most of the anti moves are forced
