This is probably specific to my system. Friends list is not visible in the bottom right corner when browser zoom is at 100% or higher, 90% or lower is fine.
Did a little more testing before posting and friends list does appear at 100% zoom IF i have bookmark bar disabled (default chrome bookmark bar, not an addon or anything). But since I typically just leave the bookmark bar open it's a nuisance to have to disable for just one site.
Not a huge deal, but definitely a bug not to work at default zoom.
