FIDE vs lichess rating?

I was just curious how your FIDE rating corresponds to your rating on lichess. Is it higher, lower, or the same?

My rating is 2150 otb, but on lichess I'm rated more than 2300!
So the formula is (lichess rating) + 950 = FIDE rating.

brb, applying for GM title
No FIDE rating, but my lichess rating can fluctuate hundreds of points within a day, which causes me to question its accuracy (at least when it's going down).
I believe the rating system is fine.
If you play unrated or provisionally rated players and lose, your rating drops. OTB this type of match is not as common at higher levels.
Normally when we talk about our OTB ratings, we are only talking about our slow games. On this site, the rated games are probably different because of the pre-moves and the lightning fast games like 0+1. It is like comparing apples with oranges. Blitz ratings and slow games are not going to be the same rating, at least not at the beginner levels. Tactical training puzzles show the tactical strength of the player. Normally that shows the players potential.
I believe the only way to compare the ratings is to consider every factor, like using similar time controls.
If you can understand that a rating is only relevant to the system that you get the rating then you would not be asking the same question. If i went to a new chess server and all the players were new to chess and somehow i won every game then perhaps my rating would be 2000 +
This rating is accurate to the system I am in , it is not relevant to FIDE rating or even ICC .
Maybe you are just wondering how the FIDE rating of players who play here compares to their lichess classical rating and i just gave my fingers some exercise for stating the obvious :)
#4 What could possibly be more accurate than Glicko-2?

The fact that a rating fluctuates if you consistently overperform/underperform would make the rating more accurate based on recent performance, not less (although one could question the overall precision of ratings -- but ratings fluctuate less & become more precise if players perform consistently and/or have *recently* played many games).

On a chess server you play much more game than otb. With much faster time controls. And thats the reason why there a lot bigger ratings swings than in otb chess. And also the circumstances matters. If i play otb i just do that, nothing else, sometimes i prepare me for a opponent. Online i play drunk, after work, at the railstation. And because of that in my opinion the server rating is more a performance rating for the actual day than a long term rating like the slow played ELO is.
