changing page width

A few days ago the site pages were wide enough to cause a horizontal scroll bar to appear at the bottom on my screen. Just in the last day, I believe, it's gone.
I'm glad it's gone because on my wide screen the playing board is positioned exactly at the bottom of the page. With the extra real estate consumed by the horizontal scroll bar the bottom of the board gets cut off and I have to scroll the page down at the start of every game.
Just out of curiosity I was wondering why the site pages became a little wider and then went back. And please keep it the width it is now!! Thanks :)
hmmmmmmm , I wonder if the "remove body overflow-x: hidden" change is what did it. The timing would seem to suggest so. Also since it removes something from the page it would be logical :)

About your tips:
1. Already have bookmark bar displaying only on new tab(wonderful feature). I only ever allow two bars of any kind on a browser, despite all the software that begs to add extra bars and waste all that space :)
2. Fullscreen would work but would be just as much of an inconvenience as scrolling down each time as I would want to exit full screen a lot to use my tabs.
3. Zoom doesn't affect page width(only the view of it), and hence doesn't change whether a horizontal scroll bar appears

But thanks for the suggestions anyway.

The problem is fixed by "remove body overflow-x: hidden", so let's hope they keep that on heh.
