Excluding 1500 rating from seek

It would be nice to be able to exclude a rating of 1500 from our seeks. Or more to the point, it'd be nice to be able to exclude players with 0 rated games from our seeks (much like we can exclude unregistered users from our seeks by simply checking a checkbox).
But if everyone did it no one new would ever be able to establish a rating. Games versus players with high rating volatility don't affect your rating as much anyway. This could be exaggerated so that new players only affect their own rating for the first few games they play, but this could get frustrating playing new players and winning a nice game but not getting anything for it.
With 240 games playing out of 715 people on the site, that is not bad.
That is not great.
If I look at the list of players available there are 1-5 players asking to play someone.
On the TV 12 are spectators. There rest who knows.
Maybe a list of places where everyone is on the site would be great to see on the front page.
I think there is enough sheltering from different players. I see no need to block one particular rating number.
In the preferences, there is the «Let other players challenge you, if rating is ± 500 »
At most, a restriction on the listing filter could be selectable ± 500. Since the button does not exist, simple place your rating selector above 1500 to max.
I think the point made by Patrizsche is a valid one. When one plays a 1500 player with 0 games, they could be a 1000 player or a 2500 player. The point of having a process whereby one may select the standard of opponent is that one knows approximately what the standard of one's opponent will be.

Many people won't mind playing a 1500 newbie, so I don't think giving the choice of excluding specific levels of experience from the selection would harm anyone.
I think the feature request has reason to be. It would also block sharks.
Instead of the present bar graph, maybe a different approach could be useful, like typing in ±366 or 10% chances of winning. It would then adjust automatically to keep you in the pool of players of your level.
Hint: I think that new comers should try playing a few games with the site computer before playing in a tournament or against a human player. This hint would give them a rating other than 1500 and it would then be a waste of time for others to block the number 1500, because nobody would probably have a rating with exactly 1500.
