takebacks or time increments in rated games

My question is : Why are takebacks and time increments allowed in rated games? I get really annoyed when people ask. If they want to play a casual game with no undo's then they should do just that. Please can you address this Lichess?
It seems pointless to me.
Yes allow it in casual games so that people can learn and discuss certain moves or openings but just not in a rated game. Is it allowed in the tournaments???

sorry I should have written a casual game with undo's rather than no undo's, or rather takebacks.
Set your preferences to not allow takebacks in rated games, only in casual games.
I support takebacks because sometimes a player accidentally drops a piece in a wrong square in such an evident way that don't allowing it would be unfair.

e.g: a rook missing the exchange and just moving a few squares in fron of an enemy rook, or a failed castling.
