Carrying an advantage

r1bqr1k1/ppp2ppp/5n2/8/3P4/P1B1pP2/1PP3PP/R2QKB1R b KQ - 0 12

The position arose thus

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. d3 Nc6 4. Nc3 Bb4 5.Bd2 d5 (reverse Steinitz Spanish, a specialty of mine)

6. a3 Bxc3 7.Bxc3 O-O 8. Nxe5 Ne5 9. Bxe5 Re8

10. Bc3? (10. d4 keeps a tense battle) dxe4 11. d4? e3 12. f3 (12. Be2 exf2+ seems better)

So Black has reached a very comfy position but how to step on the gas...

I tried 12...Nh5!? with the idea that

a) 13. g3 allows the sac Nf4

a1) 14. gxf4 Qh4+ 15. Ke2 Qf2+ 16. Kd3 Bf5+ 17. Kc4 when at minimum Black has ...e2 but has a big attack first.

a2) 14. Rg1! is harder. Is it really valid to argue that triggering g3 has benefited Black? I mean White's internal space hasn't been compromised. (...e2? 15. Bxe2 Nxe2 16. Qxe2)

Game ended sadly: 13. Be2?? Qh4+ 14. Kf1 Qf2#

If not via the concrete Nh5 how should Black proceed (human advice/plans only please :) )?
